Creating and developing a thriving community lies at the core of the Ed-Fi Alliance and our annual user conference, the Ed-Fi Alliance Summit & Bootcamp. Because of this, our dedicated team members are always striving to come up with bigger and better ways to cultivate the relationships that make our community even stronger.
Last year our conference was a resounding success – the event sold out, leading us to outgrow our previous venue space. As a result, we’re excited to share that this year’s event will take place at the newly remodeled Hyatt Regency Austin.
We’ve heard from our community that they love exploring our home town of Austin and all of its unique attributes. And the Hyatt Regency, which has been part of the Austin skyline for 36 years, will make it perfect for our visitors to soak in everything the city has to offer. The hotel is also right on Lady Bird Lake, so you can literally walk out of the lobby bar and enjoy a cocktail with a view of this beautiful lake. Or better yet, jump into a paddle boat and take Austin in by water. The hotel is also adjacent the famous Bat Bridge and the funky nightlife of Rainey Street.
If you are like me and are already getting excited for the event, make sure to check out this wonderful video the Hyatt Regency put together that showcases the amazing space and welcomes our group.
As Michael Murphy (General Manager) points out in the video, the hotel has just gone through a multi-million dollar renovation of their lobby that really adds to the overall ambiance of the space.
On a final note, if you want to get into the Texas spirit, make sure to stop by the hotel’s restaurant for their incredible breakfast tacos. The team had a chance to sample these beauties earlier this week and we are happy to report that you will not be disappointed.
Welcome to Austin, y’all!
